In a sleazy underworld in the near future (actually 1999) ex-cop Lenny deals in clips of real life experiences taped directly from the cerebral cortex to be lived by other people. When he receives a 'snuff' disc recording the feelings of someone murdering somebody he happened to know he is drawn deeper into a corrupted power hungry world where life is cheap. A frightening vision of an all too possible future set against the backdrop of an LA descending into racial conflict. Original and challenging.
